Simply amazing ♥ BEP Concert 10.25.11
it all started when my friend dragged me to join the contest, “Smart Black Eyed Peas, Fly me in Promo” by Smart Communications. We took a group photo and registered online.
After 2 days, winners were announced and fortunately, our group won via electronic raffle draw. We are so lucky, aren’t we? We were one of the 35 groups nationwide who got luckily selected. The prize was all-expense-paid trip to Manila. From plane tickets, accommodation and concert tickets.
We stayed at Manila Traders Hotel, one of the four-star hotels in the Philippines. The accommodation was superb. We have the most comfy beds, nice overview of the city and most especially, best cuisines were served.
The concert was held at Mall of Asia (MOA) Concert Grounds. It started at around 8 o’clock in the evening. The girl group named “Blush” was the front act, they sang about 5 or 6 songs before BEP. At first, while listenin’ to them, I was like, “Duh!” It was so boring. Their songs were so strange to me but I tried to listen to them and it was wonderful. They have tried to make par with all the Kpop girl groups that are making their way to stardom. *not bad eh* :)) Then after 30 minutes or so, at last!!! The stage was gleaming with lights, lights that went up with the beats of the song. I was amazed by Fergie’s voice. She showed a jaw-dropping perf! I also love her galaxy dress. *shining, shimmering, splendid* I was also inspired by Apl.de.Aps life’s story and his “We can be anything” Campaign. Will.i.am also showed his skills of DJ-ing. They performed almost 20+ songs until midnight. The crowd gone wild. All were just jumping, raising their hands up in the air, dancing, shouting at the top of their lungs and singing with BEP. The concert was really extraordinary. It was beyond of what i expected \m// BEP really rocked the stage!!
I really had a great time partying with BEP & I really couldn’t forget this night. This is one of the best moments of my teenage life..
After 3 hours of full-blast concert, it ended with a fireworks display. It was glamorous. The sky shimmered with the technique-colored pyro!
It was indeed a once in a lifetime experience! I got to experience everything fabulous for FREE! Super thanks to SMART! =)))
